I greet the brethren Free Masons and those who are interested in Freemasonry. I am the Grand Master of the Grand Lodge. It is not so important what my name is - what is important is that such an office exists. It signifies a qualitative breakthrough in the establishment of Ukrainian Freemasonry, in the recognition of Ukraine as an equal member of the world Masonic community. There are millions of Freemasons in the world, but it is the Ukrainian specificity that interests us. As in other post-Soviet countries, Freemasonry came here from the West - it could not have been otherwise, for Free masonry is not a sect; no one can proclaim himself a brother on his own if he has not undergone the "canonical" ritual, and such a ritual can be performed only by "canonically" initiated brethren in a "canonically" established lodge...
